Framework Agreement Talk - being Held by Cork County Council
Further to our E-Tendering Event on November 29th for those interested in tendering to Cork County Council, the Council have informed us that they are holding a meeting on Thursday January 19th at 18.30 hours in the Council Chamber in County Hall, Cork to discuss Framework Agreements.
The value of Public Procurement in a year is €15 billion with €1.6 billion of it made through the Local Government Sector.
A framework Agreement is where a number of suppliers who meet certain criteria are entered into the Framework Agreement and every member of the Framework Agreement is asked to tender for every job.
In 2012 there will be major changes in that there will be a Framework Agreement for Plant and Tool Hire, Road Making Materials, Ready Mix, Road Marking and Water Treatment Chemicals – More competitions for prices. Competitions run through the new Local Aithority website www.laquotes.ie
