Glenilen Dairy Products

 Glenilen was established by Valerie and Alan Kingston in 2002 to produce a range of products with milk from their own dairy herd. This range now includes fromage frais, cheesecakes, mousses, yogurts, clotted cream and farmhouse butter. The company promotes an image of "absolutely no additives, home-made, natural, farm goodness" products.

The products are widely available both in the multiples and in many specialist stores throughout Dublin, Cork and the region. The company converted a farm building into a fully compliant food production unit with assistance from the West Cork Enterprise Board. They have already won several other awards including silver at the Great Taste Awards and bronze at the British Cheese Awards, as well as being listed in the Bridgestone Guide 2004 and Rick Steins 'Food Heroes'

The company currently employs 4 people at their farm near Drimoleague.
