The following procedure covers complaints, which relate to any service that the West Cork County Enterprise Board provides directly to the public. It does not cover complaints about related organisations, issues and decisions.
The services of the Enterprise Board include providing business information, advice & referrals, as well as a number of specialist services such as provision of financial assistance packages, training, mentor support and management development services.
If you have a complaint about a particular Government policy you should contact the Minister responsible for that area of policy or your local TD.
a) You may make a complaint by writing, by fax, email, telephone or by appointment in person.
b) Please complete the attached Complaints Form outlining your complaint as follows:
c) Please address your complaint to the Chief Executive Officer and state how you would like the Board to follow up your complaint.

We will reply within 15 working days of receipt of your complaint. If it is not possible to give you a full reply within this time, for instance, when an investigation is required, we will give you an interim response telling you what is being done to deal with your complaint and when you can expect a full reply.
If the complaint refers to a service, which may have been contracted out by the board, or which is outside the control of the Board, the Board, on your behalf will make the complaint known to the relevant person or body.
If following any reply given by the Chief Executive Officer of the Board, you are still not satisfied, you can ask for your complaint to be referred to the Chairperson of West Cork Enterprise Board.
West Cork Enterprise Board is a limited company. It is nevertheless answerable to and funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
Should you be of the opinion that your complaint can not be dealt with at Enterprise Board Level or it relates to National Enterprise Policy, you should contact The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment separately at:
