• Obtain a Mentor from the Enterprise Board to assist you in examining your ideas for expansion, develop your goals and set out an action plan.
• Are you experiencing difficulties in your business and not sure what way to turn, speak to us about getting a mentor to put you back on the straight and narrow. Some of our mentors have had great success in turning around businesses that need assistance. Our panel of mentors come from different sectors and have a wide skills base knowledge and experience.
• If you have obtained financial assistance from the Board in the past you are eligible to apply again to invest in equipment or people. (You can obtain up to €75k over a three year period) If you are not eligible for Financial Assistance from the Board some of the other funding Agencies for business may be able to assist you.
• Exporting – Are you now interested in exploring new markets. The Board are involved in a Trading Links Partnership which offers opportunities to micro-enterprises to explore foreign markets. A Small Exporters Support Scheme is available which offers up to €2000 towards the cost of exploring export markets.
• Improve your Business and Management Skills by availing of some of our high level management development programmes which can improve your management skills and bring your business to a new level. Examples of these include our Gift Business Development Programme, Advanced Food Development Programme, Family Business Programme, Seafood Development Programme, Sales & Marketing Development Programme.
• Join your local Business Network such as the Boards Network West Cork, the Soho Solo Network, or the BNI network to build up contacts and trading opportunities. On a national basis the Board are also involved in national networking days which we can refer you to from time to time.
• If you are in the process of looking at R&D, or examining new product prototype then a feasibility study grant might be available to you.
