Bandon based Tailten Games & Puzzles has been selected as a preferred games and puzzle vendor for Barnes & Noble, the largest book retailer in the USA. Eight of Tailten's deluxe jigsaw puzzles have been selected for the new product range in Barnes & Nobles new concept ‘Adult Games & Puzzles Store’ in up to 600 of their US stores and online at www.barnesandnoble.com
Tailten Games & Puzzles has received an initial order of €150,000 and it is anticipated that the total value of orders from Barnes & Noble will exceed €500,000 over the next 18 months. Founded in 2005, Tailten Games & Puzzles Ltd employs 2 full-time and one part-time employee and has been creating, developing, manufacturing and distributing innovative board games, jigsaw puzzles and educational toys for game, toy and gift markets worldwide. Based in Bandon, Co. Cork, the company has been assisted and supported by the West Cork Enterprise Board since 2003. It is anticipated that up to an additional three jobs will be created within the next 12 months.
