Who are the Fastnet Business Group?
We are a group of local small business owners who meet once a week in a positive and supportive environment to educate each other about what we do.
How does it work?
When we understand another’s business, we are then better informed as to what makes those businesses unique or different from their competitors. As a result, through knowing, liking and trusting the members of the group and what they do, we are better positioned to find quality referrals for the members of the group.
Who can join?
If you own or operate a small business you can join, though, we do have a policy that only one of each trade or profession can join. This is to avoid any conflicts of interest and to maximise the referral generating potential for each category.
All guests are welcome and can come for 2 meetings free of charge to see if it is something that would suit them and their business without commitment.
What does it cost?
The cost is €50 / month. This is to cover room hire and buffet breakfast provided. We also have costs for stationery, promotion and social events which are paid from this fee. All the money that is paid into the group account is spent on the group.
Where does the Fastnet Business Group meet?
We meet every Tuesday morning in the Riverside Cafe, North St. Skibbereen at 7.15 am. The formal meeting commences at 7.30am and concludes by 8.30am.
