Small Exporters Scheme 2012
The West Cork Enterprise Board runs a scheme to assist micro-enterprises (businesses employing 1-10 employees) with the development of new export markets.
This scheme allows eligible businesses to develop potential export markets.
The Board makes provision to eligible businesses, of up to €2,000 financial assistance or 50%, which ever is lesser, to assist businesses to develop those markets abroad.
- The scheme is open to manufacturing and internationally traded services businesses operating in West Cork or those client businesses of the Board (i.e. those businesses previously grant assisted by the Board, employing 1 to 10 employees.)
- Financial support will not be provided retrospectively and expenditure incurred prior to the date of approval is ineligible for grant aid purposes. The qualifying expenditure is net of VAT.
- The scheme will officially close on 1st SEPTEMBER 2012 and the final date for draw down of financial assistance for all 2011 approved grants is 28th November 2012.
- All applications for financial assistance must be accompanied by a completed application form, any relevant quotations and a summary of proposed costs.
